Info the broker will need

To provide a quote for your business, your broker will need to ask you a number of questions.
Having the following information to hand will save you time:

Nature of business - trade, profession, services offered, products offered, contact with members of the general public.

Staff details - number of staff employed, full/part time, job description, previous liability claims.

Premises details - address/postcode, building, fixtures and fittings, stock, equipment, money in safe, stock items, previous premises claims.

What type of cover you will want - Material Damage, Business Interruption, Goods In Transit, Loss Of Money, Personal Accident, Employers', Public And Products Liability.

What sort of level of excess would you be prepared to pay - i.e. the amount you would wish to pay towards a claim.

How long you have been with your current insurer - and how long since your last claim.
